To experience grief and bereavement is to be human. The definition of grief is a profound mental suffering over a loss. The definition of bereavement is what follows, a period of mourning after a loss.  Grief and Bereavement usually occur after the death of a loved family number or friend, the loss of an intimate relationship, a traumatic event or alienation from loved ones.

If you’re trying to find the “right” way to experience loss and grief, there is none. This only means that everyone experiences grief differently and thus, the time it takes to recover also varies. The pain can be overwhelming and emotions we experience during grief are confusing. Sometimes, we feel guilt over the emotions that arise as we grieve over the loss. An example of that would be experiencing anger, such as blaming the dead for leaving. This is normal and perfectly okay. It’s all part of the grieving process.
